Ecommerce Email Automation Agency
Ecommerce Email Automations Built Around What Customers Do Next
Magicianly builds and optimizes automated email journeys around real customer behavior, from first signup and product interest to purchase, repeat purchase and winback.
The goal is not to build as many flows as possible. It is to send the right message at the right moment and improve what the customer does next.

The Common Problem
More Email Flows Don’t Automatically Create Better Email Marketing
A lot of ecommerce accounts accumulate automations over time. Flows get launched, left untouched and judged mainly by attributed revenue. The result is often a collection of automations rather than a lifecycle system.
Flow Collection
- Built to complete a checklist
- Overlapping messages
- Generic timing
- Weak customer context
- Rarely revisited
- Judged by flow revenue alone
Lifecycle Automation System
- Each flow has a clear job
- Customer moments connect logically
- Timing reflects intent
- Messages adapt to lifecycle stage
- Flows keep improving
- Success includes what customers do next
The Ecommerce Customer Journey
Ten Core Automations. One Connected Customer Journey.
The strongest automation systems do not treat flows as isolated pieces. Each automation covers a different customer moment, and together they create a lifecycle that responds to intent, purchase behavior and timing.

- Next Action

Active Customer Selected Automation
Replenishment Reminder

- Next Action
- A reorder inside the natural buying window.
Repeat / High-Value Customer Selected Automation
VIP
- Trigger
- Customer reaches meaningful high-value behavior.
- Job
- Recognize and deepen the relationship with the brand’s best customers.
- Next Action
- Continued loyalty and higher long-term value.
Lapsing Customer Selected Automation
Customer Winback
- Trigger
- Previously active customer has not purchased within the expected timeframe.
- Job
- Re-engage before the customer becomes permanently inactive.
- Next Action
- A reactivating order instead of quiet churn.
The customer journey is the system. The flows are how we respond to it.
Timing & Sequencing
The Right Message at the Wrong Time Is Still the Wrong Message
Automation performance depends heavily on when messages arrive and what else the customer is receiving.
- 01
Delay Between Messages
Enough room to feel considered, close enough to still be relevant.
- 02
Purchase Intent
Higher intent earns faster follow-up. Low intent does not.
- 03
Engagement Level
Recent engagement changes how often we should appear.
- 04
Order Timing
Delivery and product use decide when post-purchase messages land.
- 05
Replenishment Windows
Reorder reminders follow the product cycle, not a fixed guess.
- 06
Campaign Overlap
Automations and the campaign calendar should not compete.
- 07
Lifecycle Stage
A first-time buyer and a VIP should not receive the same sequence.
Personalization
Not Every Customer Should Enter the Same Version of a Flow
Automation logic becomes much more useful when customer context changes the experience.
- Customer Context
- Flow Logic
- Message Variation
First-Time Buyer
Post-Purchase Branch
Education + Next Best Product
VIP Customer
VIP Branch
Recognition + Early Access
Lapsing Customer
Winback Branch

Ongoing Optimization
Flows Shouldn’t Look the Same Six Months After Launch
Once an automation is live, we keep testing meaningful variables instead of treating it as finished.
- 01Hypothesis
- 02A/B Test
- 03Result
- 04Learning
- 05Next Decision
The loop repeats ↻ each decision feeds the next test
Every test should improve the next decision.
Platforms
Built Inside the Email Platform Your Brand Already Uses
Most of our automation work is built in Klaviyo, but we also manage lifecycle automations in Omnisend when that is the better fit for the brand.

What Better Lifecycle Email Can Unlock

Magicianly stands out above the rest
Emiel and his team are the only ones we've worked with who we fully trust to nail our messaging, understand our audience, and create the kind of graphics that align with our brand. It's a great feeling to not have to worry about that part of the business or feel like everything needs constant oversight.
Great Team, Great Processes
What impresses me most about Magicianly is the ownership and the processes. From content calendars to approvals to weekly and monthly reporting, everything is run as a controlled process that hums. A team that can take full ownership, deliver reliably, and keep things on brand.
We'd worked with two other agencies…
We'd worked with two other agencies before, and both experiences were terrible. So we were hesitant to try another one. The entire experience with Magicianly was smoother, more organized, and honestly just more enjoyable than anything we'd been through before.
Incredible team!
We've worked with different email agencies over the years, but Magicianly genuinely stood out. From strategy to execution, their team was proactive, creative, and incredibly easy to work with. Their insights helped us unlock real growth through email.

Great team, organized process, and solid results
The team was responsive, organized, and easy to work with. They brought structure to our email program, handled projects on time, and were always open to feedback. Overall, a reliable partner that delivered what they promised.

We immediately saw the difference in the result and conversion. Emiel and his team understand quickly your brand and can tailor nice emails that match your brand identity.
Brand cohesive and beautiful email flows
The entire process was smooth from onboarding through implementation of each flow. Emiel and Milica stayed in touch throughout, answered my questions, and ensured I was happy with the outcome.
Highly recommended!
Magicianly has been wonderful to work with! Beautiful email designs, reasonable pricing, and an active team. Emiel personally speaks with me regularly, and I have nothing but good things to say.

Your Email Automations Should Feel Handled
We Build Around Customer Behavior
Every automation responds to something the customer did, or did not do, and points at the next logical action.
We Connect the Entire Lifecycle
Flows are planned as one journey, so messages do not overlap, contradict or leave gaps.
We Keep Improving What Is Live
Automations are reviewed, tested and rewritten long after launch, not treated as finished.
FAQ
Questions About Ecommerce Email Automations?
Practical answers to what ecommerce brands ask before improving their lifecycle automations.
View All FAQsWhat is an ecommerce email automation?
An ecommerce email automation is an email journey that sends itself based on customer behavior, profile data or timing rather than a manual send date.
Someone joins your list, views a product, abandons a cart, places an order or goes quiet, and the automation responds with the message that fits that moment.
What email automations should an ecommerce brand have?
Most ecommerce brands are well covered by ten core automations: Welcome Series, Site Abandonment, Browse Abandonment, Cart Abandonment, Checkout Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Replenishment Reminder, Customer Winback, VIP and Cross-Sell.
The point is not the list. It is covering the customer moments that actually exist in your business, with the right trigger, timing and next action for each one.
What is the difference between email automations and email campaigns?
Automations respond to behaviors, events or timing, so they run continuously in the background for individual customers.
Campaigns are scheduled broadcasts sent to an audience at a chosen moment. Strong accounts use both, and coordinate them so customers are not receiving competing messages.
What is a Klaviyo flow?
A flow is Klaviyo’s terminology for an automated customer journey triggered by behavior, profile data or events, such as a signup, a product view, a started checkout or a placed order.
Functionally it is the same idea as an email automation. The trigger, the delays, the conditional logic and the messages all live inside the flow.
How many email flows should an ecommerce brand have?
There is no universal number. Two brands with the same revenue can need very different automation systems depending on product type, purchase frequency and buying cycle.
The goal is to cover meaningful customer moments, not to hit a flow count. A smaller set of well-targeted automations usually outperforms a large set nobody maintains.
How often should email automations be updated?
Continuously rather than occasionally. Automations should be reviewed and improved on an ongoing basis instead of being treated as set-and-forget.
We test timing, message angles, offers, sequence length and creative, and we revisit logic when products, pricing or customer behavior change.
Can Magicianly build and manage email automations in Omnisend?
Yes. Klaviyo is our primary platform, and Omnisend is fully supported for brands already using it or moving to it.
The strategy does not change with the platform. See Klaviyo management or Omnisend management for how we run each account.
Does Magicianly only build flows, or do you manage the full email channel?
Automations are one part of the system. Most clients work with us on ongoing email marketing management, which includes the campaign calendar, segmentation, list growth, deliverability and reporting alongside the flows.
We can start with automations, but we look at the whole lifecycle when deciding what to improve first.
